Abstract

PhD thesis focuses on the development of a new type timber–concrete beam. In it is a combination of both cross-sections performed in new ways. As the connecting system used here was glued steel bar with holes. This connecting system has high rigidity, can greatly increase the design parameters of the load and reduce the amount of built-in material. This new type of composite timber–concrete beam is designed for use in ceiling structures of buildings. In the experimental part of the slip modulus were designed to offset a new type of the connecting system. He defined a critical element of the new design have been clarified and some degradation happens due to moisture on the structure. Reliability new type timber–concrete beam is dependent on technological performance bond and the exposure conditions to which the structure is exposed.
