Hodnocení technické efektivity muzeí zřizovaných Ministerstvem kultury ČR

Abstract

The thesis deals with the evaluation of the technical efficiency and productivity of museums established by the Czech Ministry of Culture. The theoretical part describes the culture and cultural activities in the Czech Republic, specifics and rules for the management of state contributory organizations and museum activities in the Czech Republic. The practical part is focused on thirteen museums established by the Czech Ministry of Culture. First, it focuses on the Czech Ministry of Culture and the expenditure side of the budget. Then characterizes selected museums from different perspectives and focuses on the analysis of financial self-sufficiency and total debt of these museums. In the practical part there is also evaluation of the technical efficiency of these museums using method DEA in 2007 and from 2011 to 2015 and evaluation of the technical productivity of these museums using Malmquist index for the same period.
