Špania Dolina - významné geoturistické centrum

Abstract

The bachelor thesis is divided into two sections. The theoretical part presents the natural conditions of this locality, mostly mineralogy is analyzed because the area is an important world deposit of secondary minerals. A large part is then devoted to geology, fauna, and flora because the locality belongs to a protected landscape area of Veľká Fatra National Park and Nízké Tatry National Park. Other chapters are dedicated to history of the area, mining, important geotourism sites and monuments. The practical part which consists of a three-day sightseeing tour including an itinerary deals with discovering the selected localities of mining, mineralogical and technical nature.
