Software pro vizualizaci a kvantitativní vyhodnocení cévních kalcifikací

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is development and design software with graphical-user interface for visualization and quantitative assessment vascular calcification in blood vessels. Software incorporates options of image preprocessing native images, algorithm for segmentation, extraction and classification pathological areas – calcification, algorithm for background filtration and algorithm for calculation calcium score. Software was developed in cooperation with Třinec Hospital and functions of this software were validated and statistical testing on real data from this institution. In the thesis are discussed besides development and realization algorithms and design graphical-user interface also theoretical aspects of relevant issues with focus to area of calcium score, arterial disease based on calcification and image processing.
