Abstract
The bachelor thesis is focused on social insurance in the Czech and the Slovak Republic from the perspective of the self-employed persons. In the theoretical part is described the social insurance in the Czech and the Slovak Republic and further there are explained the concepts related to the social insurance of self-employed persons. In the practical part the theoretical knowledge is applied to practical examples and subsequently a comparison is made of the social insurance of self-employed persons and social systems in the Czech and the Slovak Republic.
