Abstract
This diploma thesis focuses on the research of the effect of various gluing parameters on the shear strength of the glued joint. The research is carried out on a glued joint consisting of EN AW 5754 aluminum sheet with 3M Scotch-Weld 7260 B/A FC adhesive. Glued joints are cleaned using the MRJ FL C120 laser cleaner. The aim was to investigate the strength of the glued joint under shear load when changing the settings of the bonding parameters and the laser cleaning beam. The following parameters of surface roughness, adhesive thickness, adhesive thickness and lap length were tested. In the introductory part of this thesis, a theoretical analysis of the general issue of gluing was carried out, with the addition of requirements for gluing parameters. Types of adhesives, tests of glued joints are described here. The practical part of this thesis describes the experiment from the design of the material, the preparation of the glued surface, the choice of the type of glue, the setting of the gluing parameters, etc. It continues with the practical execution of the experiment, where the gluing process is solved and then the glued joint is tested using a tear test. At the end of the thesis, an evaluation of the measurements is carried out and the conclusions about the measurements are described here.
