Abstract

Biomedical engineering is an interdisciplinary field where technical research from area of electronics is oriented on human body sciences. This research field is currently becoming an important part of human health care. There are plenty of various diagnostic, therapeutic, and special devices, and tools in medical instrumentation. These devices require control and revisions in order to assure patients’ safety and also their efficient recovery. Function and electric safety testers are being utilized for this type of control. Therapeutic device multiFiltrate represents one example of this kind of device, which allows for monitoring of temperature, pressure, and flow-rate in a measured system. These parameters influence functioning of the device and human health as well. Therefore, it is necessary to control accuracy of temperature, pressure and flow rate measurement.
