Annual report on activities of VSB-TUO for 2020 : Main part

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic influenced the life of every employee and student at our university. This Annual Report about VSB-TUO’s activities clearly presents how very different this year was. After practically two semesters of distance learning I can say that we coped with this transition and we provided students with online lectures and seminars of the highest possible quality. Recognition should also go to our students for staying the course, consciously getting themselves educated and having understanding for occasional complications. No less important is, however, the fact that through our combined strength we managed to increase the numbers of newly registered students and stop the negative trend.
