Abstract
A dissertation thesis is focused on an area of high yield process monitoring and control with main focus on attributive quality characteristics. A practical part results from the performed extensive analysis its aim was to provide an overall overview what type of control charts as a suitable tool for process monitoring and control are described in specialized publications, offered in statistical software, trained in terms of courses with a topic of statistical methods and used in real practice. The procedures designed for high yield process monitoring and control with their strengths and weaknesses are described for both, measurable quality characteristics and attributes. The procedures are described for the monitoring of single quality characteristic and also for simultaneous monitoring of multiple quality characteristics. Further the thesis deals with the theme of control chart parameters option known as the control chart design. Various existing approaches to control chart design are described in detail. This part serves as a theoretical basis for a creation of the own semi-economical design to determine optimal parameter r of CCC-r control chart. Numbers of situations have been simulated for the created design and it has also been verified at conditions of real practice. The created computer support for CCC, CQC, CCC-r control charts, which enables to determine the optimal parameter r of CCC-r chart according to the created design, is also presented.
