Abstract

The thesis deals with the determination of the difference of physical strain of firefighters using a composite cylinder or a steel cylinder in an air breathing apparatus. The thesis provides the results of experimental measurements, which were held in different locations and at different extents of physical exertion. The thesis describes comparison of selected values of physiological parameters obtained during experimental measurements using breathing apparatus with composite cylinders and then with a steel cylinder. The difference in physical activity is determined by comparison of these results.
