Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with the inclusion of flash flood risk mapping system, developed by the Fire Brigade of Moravian-Silesian Region. The theoretical part describes the problems of floods, causes their formation and progression. This is further specified for the flash floods. The next section describes the actual risk mapping methodology and principles of its assessment. In the practical part of the thesis is proposed the evaluation method and the inclusion of flash floods in the aforementioned methodology are verified by the case study.
