Abstract

This thesis, which consists of two parts, characterizes particularly the issues of innovation and investment, its financing, planning and evaluation in the theoretical part. The theoretical part is also describing manufacturing company, in which the thesis was conducted. Contemporary lighting of production halls is analyzed in the practical part with a full calculation of costs associated with the operation of lighting and its financial evaluation. Furthermore, the practical part contains a proposal for new lighting solutions using modern technologies. Incorporated in the proposal is the cost for the proposed lighting, including investments into innovation of lighting. The return on investment is evaluated in the conclusion and compares the entire costs of running both lightings with adoption of the proposed upgraded lighting.
