Odpadové hospodářství v městském obvodě

Abstract

This thesis is focused on waste management in Hošťálkovice city district. The theoretical part of the thesis concerns basic characteristics of waste management both in the ČR and in the world. Further there is described legislative framework and current methods of waste treatment, utilization and elimination of the waste. Practical part of this thesis contains above all the analysis of the selected city district a presentation of the questionnaire survey results. The last, but no less essential, part is analysis of waste production and finances during period 2009–2011 in this field. The last part also evaluates waste management in Hošťálkovice city district and indicates some suggestions and recommendations, which could improve current situation in waste management in selected city district.
