Abstract
This thesis describes the design and creation of modules for home automation, which communicate over the Ethernet and can also be configured by this interface. Created graphical configuration application allows to find the modules, read data from them and the inputs, outputs and control their behavior with certain input events. The Atmega168 microcontroller with Ethernet controller ENC28J60 is used in the design. The module can be connected to 1-Wire temperature sensors and I/O extension board. The device itself contains a simple web server and can be controlled through it, or the values can be read via XML.
