Objemová studie - polyfunkční dům ve Frýdlantu nad Ostravicí

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a multi-purpose house in small town Frýdlant nad Ostravicí. There is going to be the city library which is designed for 40,000 books and 10 one-bedroom flats. This thesis does not consist only of analysis of static traffic in this area and changes in transport infrastructure caused by this project design, but it is also focused on the calculation of costs investment of the proposed solution and its SWOT analysis. Although there is already a small library in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí at this time, it was decided to moved old library to the new complex, because of insufficient space. The area of interest is located at the crossroads of Nádražní and Jan Trčka street, situated 250 m from the city center of Frýdlant nad Ostravicí. This area covers 1723 m2.
