Snižování zmetkovitosti u výrobce elektromotorů pomocí metodologie DMAIC

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of “Reducing the scrap rate at the manufacturer of electric motors using the DMAIC methodology”, which is based on engineering production environment. The aim of the thesis is to reduce the scrap rate during the production of the shield of the flameproof electric motor. The introduction part defines the basic theoretical principles of the thesis. Furthermore, the analysis is performed according to the individual phases of the methodology DMAIC, which was used within the scope of improvement project, the aim of which is to reduce the scrap rate. Various quality tools were used during the phases of the methodology DMAIC, as for example, VOC, SIPOC, MSA, regression analysis etc. Subsequently, the reasons causing the high scrap rate during the production process were detected, and then corrective measures were proposed and implemented. The aim of the project was achieved after the implementation of corrective measures.
