Abstract
This thesis deals with a very topical problem of measuring company´s financial performance. The aim of this thesis is using the selected methods of financial analysis and modern methods of evaluation of financial performance, specifically for the use of methods of economic value added (EVA), globally assess the financial performance of ARMATURY Group a.s., namely from 2004 - 2008. Theoretical part defines term performance and discusses the principles of measuring financial performance. In the introduction to the practical part is further characterized by ARMATURY Group a.s., then it is applied to company traditional and modern standards used for assessing financial performance. The conclusion of this thesis includes concrete proposals for action formulated in light of the results of the analysis.
