Abstract

The objective of the thesis is to map the state of receiving emergency calls from disabled people and seniors in the Czech Republic and European Union countries and draft solutions to improve current situation. The first part of this thesis describes an emergency calls in the Czech Republic and introduction of emergency call number 112. I also deal with the emergency call center and functions of operating center. This thesis also introduces with hearing impairments and its severance, perception of surroundings and is dedicated to the old age persons, diseases and changes in old age. At the end of the first part this thesis adumbrates the communication with disabled people. The second part is devoted to survey receiving an emergency call in Europe and the Czech Republic from disabled people and project solutions to improve the situation.
