Vliv plniva Apyral na mechanické vlastnosti kompozitů pro karosářské díly

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis investigates the effect of Apyral filler on the mechanical and fire properties of carbon-fiber-reinforced epoxy composites. The aim was to experimentally evaluate its influence on strength and flammability. Samples with and without the filler were tested using tensile, impact, interlaminar shear, and fire tests. The results showed that the addition of Apyral reduces tensile strength at all tested temperatures and slightly decreases impact toughness. On the other hand, a significant improvement in fire resistance was observed, including higher LOI values and reduced flammability in the UL94 test. Apyral filler therefore improves fire performance but at the expense of mechanical properties.
