Společenská odpovědnost firem v ČR

Abstract

This Bachelor thesis deals with a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) concept. The first part of the work is focused on the theoretical grounds of the concept, definitions, scope of CSR areas and stakeholders´ definition, the CSR concept within European Union, ISO 26000 standard. In the next part a view on the CSR concept in the Czech Republic before and now is briefly described. A specific case of how the CSR concept applied in practice is shown in relation to an important enterprise entity – ČSOB. At the end of the work there are actions and recommendations drafted for an increase of the Corporate Social Responsibility awareness.
