Abstract

The EQUAL Community Initiative was one of the four Community Initiatives, which were co-financed by the Structural Funds in the programming period 2000 – 2006. This initiative supported transnational cooperation aimed at the development and enforcing new instruments of combating against all form of discrimination and inequalities on the labour market on the area of EU hence as well as the Czech Republic. In this work there is explained generally the EQUAL Community Initiative, described a feature of the selected project intention, an evaluation of the working programme implementation, outputs, outcomes and objectives including impacts and the filling of CIP EQUAL principles. Closing part contents evaluation of the realized project contributions from the organisation development point of view both levels human resources development and impact on economy. The case study evaluates suggested measures for discrimination and inequality on the labour market in the Czech Republic.
