Flokulační zkoušky na úpravně vody Ostrava - Nová Ves.

Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on the possibility of injection of the flocculant to intense sedimentation of ferric ions. In the theoretical part of this thesis is shortly described the problematic of coagulation and flocculation. There is also showed the basic separation of the flocculant types. There are mentioned main mechanisms of their influence. The practical part begins with the short description of the water processing plant in Ostrava – Nová Ves and goes on with the flocculation tests in this water processing plant. Tests are divided into two parts. In the first part are described glass tests, which are made before service test. In the second part describes the service test and check glass tests designed in the mean time.
