Abstract

This thesis treats of the Technologies of waste disposal. When the suitable site of landfill is selected and the building permit is obtained, it is time to begin preparatory works, mainly the isolation subsoil. Subsequently, they are built structural components on a landfill, ie, degassing and drainage systems and other additional features (safety nets, etc.). The thesis is devoted to technology of managing landfill, particularly the operational plan for the landfill. It discusses not only the accumulation of waste, but also the closure of the landfill and itssubsequent recultivation and monitoring. Monitoring does not end the closure of the landfill. The conclusion provides an overview of legislation related to the landfilling of waste.
