Automatizované ověření parametrů DAC převodníků a výkonových zesilovačů pro účely generování testovacích signálů

Abstract

This thesis aims to collect the appropriate methods for validating parameters of DAC converters and power amplifiers for generating test signals. Another objective is to automate methods by virtual instrumentation devices. Hardware under tests will be divided to two groups: DAC converters and power amplifiers. The whole thesis aims to allow the option of generating test signals without the need to buy specialized expensive components. Device manufacturers include datasheets to their products. In real conditions, the actual parameters and the behavior may be different or not present at all. The result of this thesis should become a tool to verify some of amplifier parameters. The thesis also includes verification of real parameters of amplifiers. The higher goal is to replace expensive professional calibrators and signal generators by DAC – power amplifier chain. Features and functions of this device will be only a fraction of the functionality of professional equipment (eg Omicron 256 plus), but also the price will be much lower. In addition, not every user always use all the features of expensive equipment.
