Vizualizace v Information Retrieval pomocí Microsoft Silverlight

Abstract

Silverlight is independent implementation of .NET framework for browsers and platform itself. Silverlight is fit for developing new generation RIA applications for websites. It integrates possibilities for server, website, desktop application interface and foremost simplifies the power includes in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). In diploma thesis is descripted history of establishment, versions overview, basic features, components and techniques which can be use in this technology. Also there is briefly descripted Information Retrieval and techniques use for visualization of various items. Diploma thesis contains proposition of application graphic user interface determined for information search. Also occur process how applications visualize searched items, how visualization algorithms works and what methods were used for design of visualizations 3D environment. In the end you can see some application tests which examine rate of visualization in Silverlight.
