Mezinárodní srovnání postojů generace Y k původu potravin

Abstract

The aim of the thesis on the topic International Comparison of Generation Y Attitudes to the Food Products Origin was to determine attitudes of generation Y in the Czech republic, Slovakia and Poland. In the theoretical part, the basis of consumer behavior, food products market and the labels guaranteeing the food products origin are described. The research was carried out through an electronic questionnaire survey on the sample of 530 respondents of generation Y. 221 respondents were from the Czech republic, 151 from Poland and 158 from Slovakia. Data was analysed with the IBM SPSS program. Results are interpreted into four chapters: Shopping behavior, attitudes to the food products origin, awareness of food products origin labels, purchases of certified products. Further, the results are compared and the recommendations for generation Y are formulated.
