Abstract

This master’s thesis analyses the attitudes of foreign student towards studies at the Faculty of Economics, VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava. The thesis is based on theoretical foundations of attitudes as well as the characteristics of internationalization at the Faculty of Economics. The aim of this thesis is to determine the attitudes of foreign students towards studies at the Faculty of Economics and towards their stay in Ostrava. An important part of this thesis is to reveal negative attitudes and subsequently outline proposals and recommendations which could change these attitudes. Marketing research through a method of focus group and short questionnaire were used to obtain primary data.
