Abstract

This diploma work is focused on the issue of creating company’s computer network in a design office. With the transition to digital design documentation there is produced a large amount of data that is needed to be stored safely. In this work I write about the taxonomy of computer networks, then about the protection of network data and network security options. Following there is a suggestion of an appropriate variant of the computer network based on the analysis of the current IT structure in the company and established criterions. The aim of my work is the implementation and validation of the selected solution and hence creation and putting in operation of new, functional computer network in the design office.
