Abstract

This thesis deals with cloud technologies, cloud computing and analyzing public cloud services. The objective of this thesis is to introduce modern cloud services and how they affect the world of IT. The first part focuses on the description of the cloud infrastructure, followed by characterization of cloud types and their models. This is followed by a testing part of selected public cloud services and their comparison according to given criteria. The last chapter focuses on security of cloud services, which also introduce the basic principles of safety for users of cloud services.
