Moderní trendy pro energetické využití odpadů a jejich potenciál v Ústeckém kraji

Abstract

In the first part of this study, I focus on analysing the current state of waste management in the Ústí Region, within the context of Czech Republic's waste management legislation and objectives. This section includes a description of the production and handling of specific types of waste, with particular emphasis on the energy utilisation of these waste types and their potential. The second part of my work examines modern trends in waste-toenergy technologies, specifically focusing on thermal methods that have been proven through practical implementation. In the final part, I analyse the potential of the EVO Komořany project and its impact on waste management in the Ústí Region. This section also involves gathering data on the production of energy-recoverable waste and the amount of this waste disposed of through landfilling between 2017 and 2021.
