Abstract

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the design and realization of a dashboard for the SC Micro vehicle. The theoretical part outlines the historical development of the automotive industry with a focus on vehicle interiors, particularly the evolution of dashboards and the impact of technological advances on their design. It also discusses selected technical standards and requirements related to interior design, including key principles of ergonomics and safety. The practical part documents the complete design process – from initial sketches through 3D modeling in SolidWorks to the production of the final prototype using modern manufacturing techniques. Attention was paid not only to functionality and aesthetics but also to mounting options and operational durability of the components. The result is a functional and ergonomically designed dashboard that meets the requirements of a modern vehicle in normal traffic.
