Železité bakterie

Abstract

This thesis deals with the theme of iron bacteria. Each chapter describes the properties, the influence of external factors on bacteria, metabolism and in particular taxonomic classification of iron bacteria. It is shown here as the importance of iron bacteria involved in acid mine waters or in freshwater wells and soil boreholes. Further experimental work is made up of parts, which deals with the cultivation of iron bacteria of various types of water samples providing two methods of staining and subsequent microscopic analysis.
