Abstract

This bachelor's thesis focuses on a comprehensive evaluation of the financial health of a retail company over the period from 2019 to 2024, including a comparison with a competing company in specific areas.

The theoretical part defines financial analysis methods, such as vertical and horizontal analysis of financial statements, ratio indicators, and the pyramid decomposition of return on equity. These methods are applied in the practical part.

The conclusion of the thesis provides an evaluation of the financial analysis results.
