Legislativní a ekonomické aspekty dotací a jejich vliv na hospodaření v Moravskoslezském kraji

Abstract

This thesis is focused on Legal and Economic Aspects of Subsidies and Their Impact on the Economy of the Moravian-Silesian Region. The Aim of the thesis is to introduce options of subsidies to the reader and their usage in the Moraviansilesian region. Furthermore this thesis will summarize relevant legislation and outline some aspects of Cohesion policy of the European union.

The thesis is divided into theoretical part and practical part. First part of the thesis is focused on theoretical aspects of the topic. It presents The Cohesion Policy and its meaning and legal aspects together with the process of drawing subsidies. Second part is focused on application of the knowledge on the Moraviansilesian region. At first the Moraviansilesian region is characterized in this part and selected economical aspects of this region are outlined. Subsequently the selected data on the amount of used subsidies and the beneficial projects financially supported due to subsidies are presented to the reader.
