Požárně bezpečnostní přístupy k návrhu výškových dřevostaveb

Abstract

This thesis addresses the issue of fire safety in high-rise timber buildings in the context of current Czech and international regulations and normative requirements. The thesis is based on an analysis of the newly published Annex K to the ČSN 73 0802 standard, which expands the possibilities for construction of high-rise timber buildings in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, selected foreign regulations and approaches to fire safety design for these structures are presented. Based on the analysis and comparison, the conclusion of the thesis evaluates the current state of this issue and assesses the possibility of a safe design of high-rise timber buildings beyond the scope of Annex K by utilizing foreign approaches.
