The goal of this Bachelor's thesis is the design of a new functional use of the former house of the sisters in the town of Rajec. The theoretical part provides an insight into the issue of restoration and new use of existing buildings with stating general and typological requierements for buildings. An analysis of the current state of the area and the building is processed. The practical part deals designs made in a variant form in the range of dispositional study with the evaluation of the intentions by SWOT analysis. Of the three provided variants, the resulting variant is elaborated in more detail according to the requirements for documentation for the zoning decision on the basis of valid Czech regulations. Part of the work is also a brief processing of the economic evaluation of the reconstruction of the building.
