Návrh na zefektivnění procesu expedice hotových výrobků ze skladu hrubé válcovny silničními vozidly

Abstract

The thesis deals with cost reduction and increasing efficiency of logistics processes in the metallurgical company ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. The aim of this thesis is to streamline the dispatch process of final products from expedition warehouse of the heavy-section rolling mill through vehicles. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts related to logistics, road transport, storage, dispatch and wasting. The practical part analyzes current situation and identifies the most serious shortcomings of the dispatch process. The analysis is based on the observation and measurement of processes, analysis of historical data and questioning of workers. The result of this thesis is the proposal of action for streamlining the dispatch process focused on eliminating identified shortcomings.
