Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to propose new product targeted on unique customer segment. The product introduction process is implemented in the form of a project that is prepared from initiation, planning, through implementation, to the project completion. The theoretical part is focused on defining of characterestics of a project and a calculation. In the practical part of the thesis, the project of the new product introduction to the socks market is being developed. The project is managed on the basis of a project plan. Subsequently, the calculation of the total cost of the product with price calculation and production plan are compiled. On the basis of the project´s evaluation, the proposal and recommendation for the successful continuation of the project are established.
