Abstract

Diploma thesis deals with analysis, project and impementation of a data warehouse for protocol of the learning process for educational system LMS Barborka. LMS Barborka serves for e-learning education of students. The aim of the forthcoming third version of this system is to prepare a data warehouse to measure the specified dates. Proposal consists of required tables and the protocol of the learning process, which is the main source of information for the data warehouse. The proposed data warehouse does not contains all theoretically possible aggregation, thus it does not slow down the system unnecessarily. It uses only those aggregations that are most commonly used, with options to build new queries over the data warehouse.
