Abstract
The topic of this bachelor thesis is Assessment of the Employee Learning and Development in Selected Organization, with the aim of analyzing this system and proposing possible recommendations and improvements based on the acquired data. The theoretical part specifies view on education and development, progressing from basic concepts such as personnel administration and management to human resource management, through modern concepts of human resource management, employee learning and development, and the latest developments due to the Covid-19 pandemic. An integral part is the evaluation of effectiveness when it comes to educational activities. The latest trends include soft skills, gamification, blended learning, and artificial intelligence. The practical part analyzes employees’ learning and development through a survey, with results presented in graphs and complemented by verbal expressions. In addition, responses to this research are questioned regarding the connection between education and career progression, the benefits of education for work quality and whether employees consider education as a benefit, are presented. The recommendations resulting from the survey analysis include training targeting and, above all, improving communication between employees and employer representatives.
