Abstract

The point of this diploma thesis is the issue of heat pumps and their coefficient of performance. Determinate coefficient of performance of heat pumps with measurement in real operation conditions is the aim of this thesis. The first part is dealing with historical progress, heat pumps operation, description of individual parts and classification of heat pumps according to type and heat energy sources. The second part is dealing with coefficient of performance of heat pumps. The third part includes process of measurement, description of used instruments and description of measured heat pump. The last part includes measured and calculated values in graphs and evaluation of measuring.
