Abstract

The aim of this master’s thesis is to analyze deficiencies discovered during controls of state fire supervision in chosen chain stores. Based on the analysis, the thesis proposes measures to eliminate these defects. The master’s thesis deals with inadequacies in the area of state fire supervision revealed during checks in chosen chain stores. The theoretical part provides general information about fire protection in the Czech Republic and specifies duties of operators without increased, with increased and with high fire risk. Moreover, it examines check-up activities of state fire supervision and describes division of controls and provision of fire protection in chain stores. The practical part of the thesis concentrates on particular deficiencies discovered during controls of state fire supervision in chosen department stores. The practical part also contains sample annexes in the form of fire protection documentation. In the conclusion, the thesis suggests measures whose implementation in chain stores will eliminate recurrent defects.
