Abstract

This thesis deals with pumping water from deep wells in the quarry Vršany. It characterizes the area of interest or and history of fracture Vršany and Jan Šverma. Describes how mining activities qualitatively influences the level of groundwater. The major contaminants are iron, manganese and sulphates, therefore the present thesis deals with the way modify the water, that pose a risk to the environment due to contamination of groundwater and surface water.
