Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with fire safety in children´s groups according to the law number 133/1985 Sb., on fire protection, amended and the implementing decree. In the introduction I focus on the description of the children's group and the difference between the children's group, kindergarten and nursery. The thesis also includes a foreign approach to pre-school education and children´s safety in terms of fire protection. The following chapters describe the fire safety of children groups, which I personally visited. At the end of the thesis there is an evaluation of the current situation and a proposal for changes that would make the work of fire safety engineers and operators of children groups easier.
