Abstract

The introductory part of my diploma thesis characterizes mining-geological conditions of the mining district of OKD 2, South site and mining and technical properties of a given seam. I deal with determination of a coal gas capacity in the next part and based on the result, I propose appropriate methods how to resolve degassing for safe mining. There is a summary of degassing operation and its economic evaluation in the technical and economic evaluation. The conclusion contains oddities that I have found out in course of elaborating this thesis.
