Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the electrode's shape influence to the minimum initiation energy of the dust. There are theoretical information in the introductory part of the thesis such as an overview of world, European and Czech standards according to which the minimum initiation energy is set. These standards also show devices used for minimal initiation energy measurement. The individual shapes of the test electrodes are described here. The practical part of the thesis describes the work on the samples preparation, the description of the apparatus and the tests. The results of this thesis are determination if the shape of the electrode affects the minimum initiation energy of the dust-air mixture. These results are based on the experimental measurement.
