Analýza změn krajinného pokryvu a polohopisu modelového území z kartografických podkladů a obrazových dat

Abstract

The subject of submitted diploma thesis is an analysis of changes in landscape coverage and topography in a small area of Frýdecko-Místecko on documents of topographic maps and other supplementary data. First theoretical section informs about terms landscape and topographic or thematic map, describes options of analyzing the landscape or particular historical and current map resources. Second practical section describes the process of my own specific analysis of the landscape development, starting with the choice of the area of interest and cartographic documents, choice of landscape elements to be analyzed, to final tables with quantitative evaluation of changes and proposal of their graphic presentation in the form cartogram.
