Abstract

In this dissertation I will present a design of a frequency modulator and demodulator. First I will introduce the theory of modulation, demodulation, modulator and demodulator. To design the device, I will use application MATLAB to draw the progress of the individual modulations and demodulations, NI MULTISIM to design the frequency modulator and demodulator using ideal components and measuring instruments, and lastly application eagle to draw a schematic circuit diagram and design a printed circuit board. I will verify the practical designs in the school laboratory on building blocks. After ascertaining that the circuits function correctly, I will assemble the circuits on a non-soldering field and once more test each circuit. Then I solder each component to the produced printed circuit board and carry out a final test to make sure that both the modulator and the demodulator function correctly. At the end I will evaluate frequency modulations and demodulations.
