Topografické mapování mozkové perfuze

Abstract

Mapping of brain perfusion is an advanced method, by which we are able to detect poor blood circulation, or uncover hidden intracranial bleeding and the presence of neoplasms. This thesis is loosely based on previous bachelor thesis "The principle of artery examination methods CTA and 4D CTA", which is important information for understanding display using computed tomography (CT) and CT angiography (CTA). The aim of this thesis is a detailed introduction to the principles of cerebral perfusion through the analysis of perfusion curve not only for the CT, but also angiography method for magnetic resonance imaging (MRA), their comparison and evaluation of the benefit for various pathologies. In the practical part of this thesis is solved by enhancing the features of the original software Tomorphs and its improvement for broader clinical use, especially for targeted early detection of cerebral ischemia.
