Abstract

This thesis focuses on the sphere of regional schooling, specifically on the common schooling system of municipalities in Voluntary Association of Municipalities. Its aim is to evaluate the impacts of establishing a microdistric school named „Základní škola a Mateřská škola Údolí Desné“ (The Primary School and Kindergarten at the Desná Valley). The thesis consists, besides the Introduction and Conclusion, of three chapters. Chapter 2 focuses on theory and describes the economics of municipality schooling and also on types of organizations in municipality schooling. Chapter 3 is a field study analyzing school financing and the microdistric school by the founder and also by the municipalities involved. Also, selected activities of the microdistric school are specified here using an analysis. Chapter 4 assesses impacts of the inception, launch, and period after stabilization of the microdistric school during the analyzed period.
